First line of support is always Ted in this case, just saying that reaching out directly sometimes works better than Ted and I asking Aqara ![]()
What usually happens is that Aqara tells us Matter support is sufficient, while we explain that users will still ask for native Zigbee support. From there, it’s typically a lot of back and forth about what should be supported and how. If we eventually get the green light, we still need to make sure we receive the necessary documentation. With most other brands, the devices usually show up before we (or the agency) even have to ask.
