[APP][Pro] Apple Find My

@Adrian_Steen_Thorbjo most of the time trying on another device works. There’s not much else to try

@martijnpoppen @Adrian_Steen_Thorbjo

Same for me.
All info is correct and when logging in, it just stays on “loading”.

@Wes_Holsteyn and you already tried the homey web app or another device?

Yes, initially tried on my phone (android) through the homey app, then Iphone of my wife, then Ipad, then Iphone from work and also through laptop. Checked today again and it’s the same. Login credentials are correct.

@Wes_Holsteyn can you send a diagnostic report ? After reproducing the issue ?

Possible, but I’m not sure what it is I will be sharing then. What data does such report contain? And is it meant to be shared other than the homey support team?
I only got the homey pro about a week ago, so very new in all this.

@Wes_Holsteyn when you send a report for this app I only see info for this specific app. That info contains information of your apple device but all important info is removed

Same problem for me. After installing the app i’ve entered my credentials. After that the message “ loading” remains there. Nothing happens. Tried via webversion, same problem. Restart Homey, same problem

Hi @Lennart_Peereboom ,
Yes there seems to be an issue with the API. I’m investigating it

Same here: f4be175d-a72d-4bf6-bf3a-bcd0a6ae1e22

I have also lost my devices multiple times during the last month. Removed and added them again. Same thing after a day or two, no further updates coming through.

No I am not able login as it says “Loading”

Appreciate your work and that you taking the time to provide this awesome feature.

@Wes_Holsteyn @Bjursten @Lennart_Peereboom @Adrian_Steen_Thorbjo

I’m combining this message as you all have the same issue.
Ofcourse it works perfectly on my machine

So I hope you can help me out debug this.

Can you login to Find Devices - Apple iCloud and tell me what you see (passkeys, 2FA etc).
Just curious if you have another experience than I have,

For me:

  • Login with email
  • It asks for my password
  • I click login
  • Logged in and i see the map with devices.

If this is not the same for you let me know

@Lennart_Peereboom do you mean same steps on the website or in the homey app? I asked for the Apple website

Ow, my mistake. This was in de Homey app. When i use your link, it’ll bring you to the apple website and then i see the map with the devices. So it is the same as you

I can reproduce the steps as you describe and it works direct against iCloud. I see the map and all devices, no issues and looks ok. I’m running a late 2019 and it did work in the beginning, but things started to become weird after 1.5.5 or there about. But then I was able to login, and now it’s stuck on loading.

I have also removed and reinstalled the app if that would help.

@Bjursten can you go to this page and see of this works? http://ip4.me/

You don’t have to share the IP but I’m curious if ipv4 is possible for you

Since 1.5.5 I enforce ipv4 in this app as that works better than ipv6

Until now?

Yes, all is good on IPv4. I created a new report just after I tried to login a few minutes ago: e7e6ed04-4d39-4367-896d-aa4ea2f86704

I can also log in using the same steps as @martijnpoppen on the iCloud link. Still not working in the find my app for homey…

I did also check if I had ipv4 or 6. I had ipv4
