Doesnāt work yet, but hopefully a donation helps motivating you to get it back online
Could it be ⦠or am I being to suspicious ⦠That because of Homey being acquired by LG (also a large Airco provider) the Daikin functionality has been made harder to connect just asking for a friend
Everything should work now, at least I donāt getting any errors anymore on 2 homey pro and 1 homey(cloud)
Follow steps describes.
- update to latest version
- repair all devices
- restart app. Or reinstall app(without removing devices)
And thank you for the donation much appreciated.
If you getting a 403 forbidden (mainly on homey cloud) this means IP address is still banned and you have to be patient and keep on trying.
As discussed, using a Daikin account with no units attached to it
Restart the app.
On Homey cloud reinstall app from homey app store without removing tour devices.
Probably the websocket had a 403 forbidden last days and restart should reset the reconnect timeout and connect the websocket.
And iāam not responsible for the look and feel of the homey mobile app so no not much I can do about it
What should I do. remove the app, and reinstall. Or just reinstall (what iāve already done)
Keep up the good work!
Remove device and add it again.
Make sure first remove cookies and history from browser so you can enter your Daikin account credentials
Be aware all flows where the deleted device is attached to are broken and needs to be checked
Deleted all. Removed App. Restart Homey. Clean browser. Install latest version. Add devices.
- Then coming in devices screen, attched error.
- I start to think this is me specific. Mobile app works, same password. (Maybe password is to long and complex, that could be an option? Something as 24 characters?)
So, pairing was successful?
What happens if you restart the app now. The Daikin ONECTA app on homey needs a restart
Can you send me a diagnostic log?
And yes looks something specific at your site
App restart solved it finally. Thanks @Mickel_Luiten!
Now the device is back in Homey
The inside and outside tempetature in Homey and Conecta app are the same. But if i change the wanted temperature in homey it does not change in Onecta.
Probably your account is rate limited.
Please try again en send a diagnostic report of it still fails
Hi Mickel
It takes a few minuts to take affect in the Onecta app
ec505ee7-0a1e-4a80-a19d-e8b18f0825a0
Makes sense since the Homey app updates every x minute because of the rate limiting. Should not be a problem imoā¦
Yup I know that. But I was thinking of adding more tabs/screens in the app instead of using the dropdown? Most of the people I saw using the app didnāt notice that there are extra options in the dropdown in the top for selecting the mode/speed/ā¦
So no problemsā¦
I canāt help that the ONECTA app(android/iphone) is slow. Itās also connected to the new Daikin API platform and I do not know the polling time interval.
In general according to Daikin documentation itās can take up to 30sec that your physical unit accept the command you have given. And then the acknowledge is returned to the Daikin API platform that need to processed. If the āupdateā. API call is in between I can to longer to expected
Also your diagnostic log shows no errors or rate limiting.
Canāt itās depending on capability type.
Athom place them in a pulldownmenu
Nothing I can do about it
Request are directly sendā¦only if you send to much the rate limiting blocks the request.
So request like on/off or target temperature are send without delay from homey to Daikin cloud
Hi, great app in general - one thing that would be nice is if switching Economy mode on/off (and checking whether itās on/off) would be supported (assuming that by now the API supports that). I have several Perfera units which have Economy mode switched on, however there is nowhere in Homey that I can see or change this. I would like to set up a flow that automatically switches on drying mode when a room gets too humid, but since drying doesnāt do anything in Eco mode, that currently doesnāt work.
Not supported by the API.
Check Developer Portal for all supported features.
