[APP][Pro and Cloud] Daikin ONECTA

Hello,
I am experiencing a new bug (not related to the rate limit).
When I use the IR remote to command the AC, its state is no longer seen in Homey. It is on and heating for instance, but Homey still sees it off though Onecta sees it correctly on
I “repaired” a few times to no avail

3d edit : same thing when using Onecta : Homey does NOT see a change

Same, unfortunately. Working fine on Homey Pro (at home) but Homey Cloud (at the office) still struggling, unable to login the Daikin app at all…

@Mickel_Luiten Any chance that this will be fixed? Since it seems like it has nothing to do with the app crashing, but more with the connection to the Daikin API.

See above message, mainly the bug is on Homey Cloud.

As far as i can see and understand most Homey Pro user have no problems
Afcourse the Homey Pro user must first repair ALL there devices after they received the 4.x.x update!!!

i’am hoping to have some time this weekend to create a fix.

I have a Homey Pro 19 and still have connection problems.
Tried to repair the connection, but always got stuck at the log-in page.
Removed 1 unit and tried to add it again, but no luck.
In the Daikin app the integration with Homey was still active, removed the integration, but now unable to integrate again…
sometimes the units come online for a few seconds, but then get off line again.
any suggestions?

All,

Version 4.3.1. is live and can be downloaded.
This version makes sure if there is no valid autorization of refresh token no websocket or system polling wil iniated.

At this moment some Public IP-Adressen from homey(cloud) are on a blacklist.
This wil be solved in time by itself when no more invalid request will be done by the app.

The migration process is slightly different.

  • All Devices are unavailable after new version and no valid autorization of refresh token is there
  • Repair ALL devices
  • Devices will come available, but when change a functionality (e.g. on/off) the app still reports message there is no valid autorization of refresh token
  • Restart Daikin ONECTA APP, or for homey(cloud) users reinstall the app from homey store (this also results in a restart)

This is the best i can do in this short time to fix the current issue’s

For some reason the homey app will not find any devices when i try to add device. (even that they good on the onecta app)
Was able to add devices before the 4.3.1 update. I have tested all above workarounds… reinstall and so on

@christian_jonsson , @Martin_Zijderhand ,

Never advice to delete your devices only to repair you devices!
But proabaly you both on Homey(cloud) where there is still IP-addresses of the Homey cloud are blocked.

@Mickel,
Hoe can we deblock the IP-addresses?

We can’t shoud resolve in time.

But i just tested the pairing for myself onHomey Pro and also me can’t add devices.
Looking in right now.

The app connect to the cloud, why not to the device it self?

Version 4.4.0 published that solves the pairing issue.

This is apart from the IP block on Homey(cloud) that still can be exist.
This result in a 403 forbidden message when you try to pair

Becasue there is no local API in the units on most new WIFI adapters.

Installed version 4.4.0 and after connect to the cloud both devices are available again. Thanks for the quick responce and the repair.

After adding device the message Apparaat onbeschikbaar, No OAuth2 Client Found.
Then choose for repair and see the values of the devices.

New version downloaded. Can not find any devices

When using Advanced Flow for controlling the device, error “No OAuth2 Client Found” Can you look for that?

Yeah looks like the actual room temperature isn’t updated like it should, it stays 22 now for many hours even after restart and repair (and the temp definitely changed during the night ).

Besides that: is it possible to change the UI/UX more userfriendly? It’s really hard to see in which mode the AC is currently in. Perhaps Homey SDK is doing something about that with the Airco class? Or maybe make an overview screen instead of all the dropdowns or different tabs/windows for each dropdown?
