Any news about the Homey - Daikin ONECTA integration?
Still working here
Hi.
Is there an overview over the readings/Parameters available for the DAIKIN ALTHERMA 3 GEO? Eg. all the tempratures? Temp In/out on the coldside to read out and use the Delta for tuning. Like the values I have today for my IVT? Se attachment.
Keep up the good work.
Best regards
Geir
No there isn;t such reading, basicly everthing(except power consumption) what is in the ONCECTA (android/iphone) app is also in the Homey ONECTA app.
Is there currently a login problem?
Your own app has integrated all devices and everything with current software.
Just the login at Homey doesnât work. No devices are found. Then the app breaks and I have to search again.
No problem at this moment with the ONECTA appâŚ
Then why doesnât the login work?
None of the three indoor devices are found by the app.
There are always problems when logging in to the daikin homepage. But only when I try this from homey.
Based on your question , and your question is a little bit vague there are no problems currently with the ONECTA app.
To understand your problem please give as many details you canâŚ
But there could be numerous reasons why the app doesnât found your Daikin units. As said your initial question(s) are not enough to pinpoint the issue.
- Which type of units do you have?
- Are these units already connected to the ONECTA app(android/iPhone)
- Do you use the same account in the Daikin ONECTA app(android/iPhone) as in the Homey ONECTA app?
I can check your issue but you need to send me a PM or mail with your Daikin credentials(or share your units with me)
All units are connected and can be controlled via the daikin app.
At homey I click this:
Then it goes to the browser which tries to log in.
I donât have a chance to change anything because it goes straight to the error page.
It seems to be a problem with daikin.
If I want to change the email it says it already exists.
When I then want to reset the password it says that the email doesnât exist
Thatâs not a problem with the homey ONECTA app, that a problem with the login services from Daikin.
Try clear your browser cache and history.
If that doesnât fix your issue please contact Daikin
I can also use a completely different device and it doesnât work.
No idea whatâs going wrong.
I have added my Daikin Altherma III Climate Control and Altherma III Hotwater tank. For some reason I donât see the then card for temperature for the Hotwater tank. Only a card to switch the heatpump on/off and powerfull mode is available. Any thoughts on this?
I see this question has already been answered last year. API does not support it (yet).
There is no then-card for the temperature, but a tag you can use in the logic card.
So for example:
If time is 7:00
And temperature is less than 40
Then activate powerful heating mode
Hoi Mickel,
Thanks for your brilliant app, time and effort! It appears to be working brilliantly with my three Daikin FTXM models.
Maybe you or someone else can help me? Iâm trying to take it one step further. Iâm trying to control my Daikin AC via Siri and HomeKit.
Using it via the experimental mode in Homey. However HomeKit sees the AC units as temperature sensors and gives me measured temper information but can ask to set room temperatures per room. This then shows in HomeKit. With the ACâs in AUTO mode via Onecta or Homey the temperature change does sometimes work and gets passed on via your Homey app to the ONECTA app/AC. It normally takes quite some time and sometimes they bounce back and the settings in the Onecta app overrule the HomeKit command and set your Homey app to its setting overruling the HomeKit command. But sometimes it does work! Is there some way to make this more stable?
Also the switching ON/OFF does not work via HomeKit. HomeKit does reflect and show the requested state but Homey and ultimately the Onecta/AC does nothing with it. This is also true for mode requests when not in auto.
Is there any way to get better HomeKit/Siri integration so that I can be really lazy and give voice commands when lying in bed and not have to reach for my phone or remote control?
Any ideas you might have would be greatly appreciated!
Dank voor all your efforts and time.
M.V.G. Mark.
I just got an offer for a Daikin Caldo II R (with Onecta). But when looking in this app itâs not there. Is it something that could be added or am I missing something?
As long as your units connects to the Daikin ONECTA (android/iphone) app, they also should work in homey, use the general app.
If not please send me a PM so i can take a look and/or add them as seperated driver.
Is it possible to create an card where we can fill in manuel the temp we want?
I am now also getting stuck.
Try to create the following flow:
- When the airco is on
- the modus is cooling
- set the temperature
Only option 3 is not possible. Because when i have this card, i can create one button on a Dashboard to put the Airo on.
