There is a card in the “then” section to do this? Can you send a screenshot of your cards?
I am unable to do anything with the “then” card manual. I can only add an tag.
That is the issue i have.
I am unable to move the “round button” to the left or right. If i am doing something wrong, please let me know, but on Safari and Chrome i have the same issue.
Very strange and I am then wondering why it is not working for me.
Safari and chrome tested.
Restarted the daikin app
restarted Homey self
re-install the app
repair the device.
still the issue…
thnxs for checking, i am lost, but will try to get it working on another way then.
created support ticket to homey
Out of all the apps I’ve used or am currently using for Homey 2023, the Daikin app has never worked properly. It appears in Homey as if everything is functioning, but it’s misleading. For instance, the heat pump may be off, yet the Homey app shows it as on, while the Onecta app correctly shows it as off. Occasionally, repairing or restarting the connection works for about 4-5 minutes, but then the issue returns. I eventually uninstalled everything and let the heat pump operate without smart control. Ironically, my other Daikin heat pump, which I control via Sensibo, works flawlessly. I’ve never had a problem with it. It just works.
HI All,
Version 4.1.2 is there in TEST.
This version migrate to the new Daikin API-Cloudplatofrm including websockets.
IMPORTANT
After you upgrade to version 4.1.2 you need to repare 1 of your devices!
If you don’t do that you devices stays unavailable!
Hi, I just reinstalled version 4.0.0 of the app, but I still can’t change the operating mode. For example, when I set the mode to cooling through Homey, nothing happens, it won’t switch to cooling.I can change it without any issues using the standalone Onecta app. It just doesn’t seem to work with Homey.
On a side note, how long should it typically take for the change to take effect? Is there a delay, like 2 minutes or more? I didn’t check for that before leaving home. I’m used to Sensibo, which works instantly.
Clearly you must do something wrong beacuse al other +/- 5000 user does not have these issues…
Lets begin that you restart the app , wait 5 minutes , do some changes in homey and do some changes in de Daikin ONECTA app.
after that create a diagnostic report and send the ID and problem(s) in a PM to me.
For all other user.
When you set a schedule in the Daikin ONECTA(android/iphone) app , this will overide everything. Basicly the homey Daikin ONECTA app will be useless.
BE AWARE!
Why would you do that? I never use the native Daikin app. Everything is steared ny Homey
IMPORTANT NOTICE
Early morning on 1 Oktober new version 4.2.0 goes live.
This will break any communication to the Daikin Cloud platform and all you devices will be unavailable and notification will be shown.
Only thing to do is to repair ALL your (Daikin ONECTA) devices and after approx 30 seconds you devices should be available again.
This new version(=> 4.x.x ) connect to the new API platform from Daikin.
NOTE : Daikin turns “off” the old platform end this year so upgrade a.s.a.p.
App updated. Re-login and now i see :
Check [APP][Pro and Cloud] Daikin ONECTA - #313 by Mickel_Luiten
Repair ALL your daikin devices in Homey… you need to apply the terms on DaikinPage ( first remove all cookies en history in your browser) and also you need to login with you Daikin Credentials.
If everything goes right your devices will be available again and app is stable again.
Br Mickel
Even easier here, just needed to repair in the homey app, then click “akkoord” and everything worked again. No login needed.
Also, only needed to repair one device to make both work again.
Many thanks, I did a repair of all devices. It’s fixed.
Dont know if its just me, but i try to repair… Login, accept terms… browser tells me to close this window. But when i go back to homey im stuck on a blank screen Login with your account… I’ve tried this on 2 seperate phones with a fresh Homey Install… Using a Homey Bridge & Subscription.
Same behaviour, different error.
Using Homey Bridge, got the message, tried to repair, but then an ‘Invalid token’ (403) message came up. Reinstalling the app, same behaviour. It seems like a rate limiter on the API…
Yesterday at another location with a Homey Pro, all went smooth after a repair, so I would think it only affects Homey Bridge and Homey Cloud.
The “repair” worked for a few hours but since yesterday evening all my Daikin Stylish devices are unavailable from Homey. Their state is correctly shown in Homey if I use Onecta but I can no longer issue commands from Homey
Probaly you account is rate-limited, all changes from Daikin–> homey are be processed but API call from homey—>daikin are rate limited.
This rate-limiting is something Daikin as implented on there new platform. Nothing i can do about it.
Max approx 150 API calls in 24H and max 20 per minute.
Thanks for the info though this NEW Daikin rate limit is a big pain in the axx
