[APP][Pro] Amazon Echo - Looking for testers and contributors

All my devices through thus Amazon Echo app ate offline but not through the other Alexa app.

How come ??

Could you please maybe explain in details how you’ve done it ?

I can’t connect anymore through this app.

Reset configuration?? How ??

Go to the app store and install the app again (no need to uninstall from Homey first). Then just set up the connection again.

Or try this:

Go to your app in Homey.

Restart the app.

Go to configure your app.

And hopefully now you can….

I did it as described by Marek. Reinstalled the app, do configure again and it should work.

I was about to post that I was no longer getting song information in Homey through the app. Read this post and gave it a try. I did a install of the app without removing my current install and that resolved my issue. Now I can see what’s playing again.

my echo devices stopped working in homey,
so I have to reconnect
but when I try to reconnect my account I enter my email address and as soon as I enter the verification code I get a 404 page not found. can anyone help

As also mentioned on your github comment. You need to properly set up 2FA with a authenticator app.

Thank you @staeff , but the MFA was already set up correctly.

The solution is that it doesn’t work if the MFA comes via mobile phone. The code must necessarily come through an authenticator app. Passkey also causes that problems. I had to shut it down.

Maybe it would be possible for you to make a half-sentence of information to the onboard dialogue box? Thank you very much, great app :orange_heart:

I havn’t seen anything about needing 2FA with this app setup

Unfortunately, for the past few days I’ve been getting the same error message when logging in: Error 404, Amazon says “sorry…”. Can anyone reliably help?

I’m also having real problems with the app. I lose connection between my devices 1-3 times a day. Then I have to reset the app and log in again. (Logging in works without any problems.)

What could be causing this? Is anyone else experiencing this problem? I’m really getting desperate, and it’s incredibly annoying.

P.S. I’ve already reinstalled the app several times.

App is not working anymore.

Loosing connection just after a few minutes after re-connect.

What do you mean? The connection is regularly lost, e.g. after 24 hours.

Same here. Rolled back to v1.1.3 and everything is fine again. Seems like the changes in v1.2 are responsable for that.

Released 1.3 as a preview that is a bit more conservative with the automatic reconnection handling than 1.2. Let me know if that improves things, but overall there is only so much I can do about connection issues with this app.

No success wirh 1.3.0, the reconnect fails.
