As Alexa isn’t sold in my country and we don’t like to order internationally. I will use Sonos Beam Gen 2 as it has built-in alexa. And it says this app supports it, but i’m guessing the amazon echo show isn’t… @Jamie please fix the app.
Mine has stopped working it doesn’t allow me to connect to alexa server thru eu and india. I have disabled alexa skill and reinstalled alexa on homey pro and nothing is working. I have tried it on windows and andriod all no luck. It was working and suddenly it has stopped. Can you help me please

Had the same problem really annoying as it was a few weeks ago and I have updated homey pro and now it doesn’t work
This app has nothing to do with the Homey skill in Alexa.
Thanks but I have reskilled inside alexa and tried to then reconnect to homey pro by adding device
The Homey skill in Alexa lets Alexa control your Homey, but the Alexa HOMEY APP lets your Homey control your Alexa.

Soooo couple of thins have happened recently
I now have a special edition 2026 Homey → Pretty, my plan is to use it to debug whats going on over the christmas break … And hopefully do some Quality of life improvements for everyone.

Your app was sawesome until… Homey doesn’t connect to my Alexa account anymore !

Unfortunately, I have the same error message. Is there an alternative solution to get around this problem? I actually wanted to set up a cool Christmas scene with different voices for my little one at Christmas. Now that’s not going to work. It’s a shame that it’s happening now of all times.
But it is a great App!

It’s almost as good.. you cannot change the voice, it only does English, but this is a great help…
Top for all:
Do not add the command to speak in every flow but create a text variable called “Homey_Speaks” and every time you want homey to speak fill that variable with what you want it to say.
Then create a separate flow that monitors changes to that same variable and then speaks what is in it..
that way whenever you want to change the app you use to voice you only have to change that one flow instead of all. I also put that same variable on the timeline saving me one rule in every flow.

I have had this app working for years, and it stopped working so i uninstalled it.
and now when i have reinstalled it and try to add a device or go through setting and try to configure. It Says Error not defined, Could someone please help me?

I think we all have this issue.
I also think it occurs when reinstalling the app… it looks like it did not stop for everyone at the same time..

I had a chance to load up the app, turns out it was actually a fairly minor issue - the way amazon was notifying had changed in some circumstances.
Should all be fixed: Alexa | Homey
Im pretty confident, so ill push it out to everyone as soon as a couple of people verify that its now working
