Ahh interesting, so the message it looks for I store in a configuration, but even though I changed the message everyones config is different so it doesnāt immediately overwrite itā¦
I did a clean install to test ..
Sorry Toby, the good news is im positive that I would have made a way to overwrite it when I wrote it -

Iām still quite new to the Homey world.
The Alexa app had never worked for me before.
I just installed your experimental app.
(EU-India/Amazon.de).
I was able to connect the app straight away.
So far, so goodā:smiley:![]()
You need a fresh install of the app.
Delete the app and install the /Test Version. This works for me.
Iāve just released a new version which should mean you no longer need a fresh install.

Just a heads up,
The connection issues are resolve int he test app, im currently testing a new version where I added some changes which could make the connection even more stable - but I am aware your all super sensitive to connections failing (in case it doesnt work) that so ill hold off releasing it.
The app deep integration into the media is still being worked on.
- It should display the current track, and album image - at the moment its just black.
- When you update the volume on the device it should be updated on homey to the correct volume
- Homey should correctly show when a speaker is playing - or not.
Ill fix up items 2 and 3 tomorrow, but I am struggling with item 1, as the websocket payload no longer includes the ādeviceā and its all hidden ⦠I think I can solve it ⦠but I think it will create a bit of a mess for people who play multiple song on multiple alexa devicesā¦.

Hmm, that looks like the repair screen, ill check it out tomorrow in the mean time reconnect from settings ā app ā app settings, it should work.
Just a heads up I fixes all the above, and made some connection stability improvements - but when I release it to the test channel, you will have to re-connect.
Again, ill put off sending the update for 4-5 day so you can test the current version, with out needing to reconnect with the new cookie method.
