I can’t seem to set up the Alexa app. No matter which server I select, I just get an error message.
Today i had to restart Homey and my Alexa app can’t get online again.
Luckily the Echo Dot app still works.

I am also getting a lot !! of disconnects !, sometimes it hangs on the connection for some time, then crashes again ! - it seems to be in regard to the new update as of 11th Nov (ver. 6.0.3). didn´t have any problems before as far as I recall ?, but now the App just keeps crashing !??, and everything is offline
I get the same error when I try to connect to the server.
Whichever server I choose, the result is always the same:
”Error: error is not defined”
I’m getting the same error trying to connect to the US server. The amazon echo app is working though.
I’m getting the same with any server. Do we know if the developer is looking at this at all?
I ask myself that question too. It’s very frustrating not to hear anything, and the last update was almost a month ago.
The frustration took over, bought all new devices for 1400 euro to replace all my Amazon devices to be able to control locally.
I really hope this situation gets resolved because when the Amazon app was working it was really good💪

A bit extreme , but I can’t say I’ve been thinking the same thing , did you go for apple I presume ..?
I hope a new update will solve this crashing sindrome, the app is useless at the moment

I know it is a bit extreme but for me the most important thing is that it is working when I need it to work. My home is heavily depended on flows that unfortunately have been broken since this Amazon app stoped working

I know exactly how you feel. I have a slight brain injury which causes me to have problems with memory loss and I’m extremely dependent on these smart home devices as well, I don’t know what I would do without them as I live all by myself and no one else to remind me of things.
I’ve gotten the other Alexa App to work though, I couldn’t for a while but then someone on here wrote something about turning on 2FA and that did the trick for me so now it’s working again, just a heads up for anyone else who’s having trouble with it. There I can at least add my Echo Show 21 to Homey as well but each app has their pros and cons.

My Alexa app has now been stable for 1 hole day with no issues, normally it starts working in the afternoon/Early evening, and then in the morning ig broken again, i cross my fingers 
You could use the Sonos app and a Sonos speaker if you only want TTS?
