I connected to Hue through Matter and it worked well for me. Until the connection suddenly broke and I was not able to fix it. But before that I was pretty happy with Matter. The problem was that once things went haywire with Matter connection, it was very difficult to even remove. See another thread: Matter connection to Hue Bridge stopped working
