Simple cards to add comments to flows

This app enables adding comment cards to your flows.
They are just cards with text, no functionality at all

  • Condition cards (And… section) are always true and do not influence the way your flows runs

  • Action cards (Then… section) do not contain actions and do not influence the way your flows run

    Use the cards to add comments, notes or remarks in your flows.

2 types of flow cards

  • Comment (Notitie)
    To clarify the flow
  • Fixit (Oplossen)
    To point to flows that needs a better solution
    (Specific type makes it easier to search and find…)

First release, only published in the community app store for testing

Released also in Homey app store

  • Changed the appname “comments for Flows” to “FlowComments”, Athom requests short names
  • Removed languages, For quality reasons Athom does not allow translations by google translate
  • Added German language, translation provided by Dirk (fantross)

v1.3.0 (Test)

  • updated the app to SDK3. So it works with a homey pro (2023).
  • fixed some grammar in the German language

Just created my 1st app :slight_smile: I started very simple. But it does fill a need I had.
Hope it is usefull for others too

The App is not published yet. I am still testing it myself and will publish it later

Quite a nice idea. Certainly fills a need Athom has missed to provide a solution for up until now.

Thanks for the nice responses.
Good to hear it fills a need!

Still some work todo. Its seems to work fine. But when pressing the test button in the flows the cards get exclamationmarks (error). Figuring out what goes wrong…
(1st time I create an app, so learning on the job)

Great idea, could use something like this as well! I don’t have time for testing, but when the app hits the Homey App store I will download it for sure!

Yeehow, I published my app for testing.
But I do need some help now…

Accoding to the developer guidelines my dashboard should provide a link for testing.

Found out the link will be available after 1st screening/approval by athom.
When it is available I will sent a pm to the people in this thread that mentioned they want to test.

You can find it in the homey community store

Be aware:

  • this is not the Athom app store
  • this app is only tested by me, so no other used tested it
  • it is therefore not released in the Athom app store yet
  • Also not reviewed by Athom yet…
