I just got offered the fw update too. So I’ll install it.
Ty for the quick reply, BLE finds them again
The latest app version is now live which has webhook notifications for the Contact Sensor, Motion Sensor, Bulb and Temperature / Humidity modules.
Do I have to re-register the sensors for it to work ?
The humidifier and its sensors are probably not affected by the update ?
The app will automatically use the Webhook, even for devices that already exist so nothing needs to be done.
As you say the Humidifier is currently not included by SwitchBot to provide Webhook feedback. Hopefully they will expand the number of devices supported at some point.
Back again.
The app has crashed aprox. once each month but restored itself after a day aprox.
Now it has gone done more and is not able to fix itself again ![]()
Could you send the Information log from the Configure App page.
Think I did it now
I can’t see any errors in the log so it seems to be working OK.
When you say the app crashes, do you mean it has a warning on the app?
When I start the app it just says its not able to connect to homey. all the automations with the switchboot also stops. but Im still able to controll the lights from the switches
That’s strange. When it shows that message could you send a Diagnostic report from the same screen that you restart the app.
Also, could send a screen shot of the message so i can pass it on to Athom to see if they have any ideas.
I`m not able to access anything as the homey app is down untill I reboot the central.
Wow, I didn’t know that was possible. If you go to Homey Developer Tools can you send a diagnostic report from to Athom from there?
It`s the main app that has been crashing all the time, not one specific app inside the homey app.
I created one log to Athom now, the ID: 1894A2
You will probably need to try creating the report from the web site when the Homey app is not working.
Got Information from Athom-Support: BT on Homey works fine. Tryed Beta 1.1.4 > Homey didn’t find the the Bot. Bot is on Firmware 4.9.
I will get back to Athom as I still have one Homey working perfectly with BLE and one that doesn’t (problem that you reported). So basically there is no change and they haven’t fixed the issue.
It has now crashed again and I have gone into the web app to try and create the report but all Im getting is an error that homey is offline so im not getting anywhere with that either.
It was worth a try. I’m am at a complete loss as to how the app can cause Homey to stop working as if it tries to use to much memory or CPU then Homey will just kill the app.
So I suspect that it is Homey it’s self that is having a problem, as I haven’t had any other reports of this problem with the app.
All I can suggest is to contact Athom support and ask them how to diagnose the problem.
Hi @Adrian_Rockall,
First i want to thank you! Awsome app! Our whole home is depending on it
.
I have a short question; i just did the update for the webhooks. So i just build a flow that sending me a push on a temperature change. It’s still as slow as it was before. Do i need to do someting to get the webhooks working and get the ± 3 sec delay update
?
Thanks!
