Yeah I figured I should give that a try, and have now tried everything that is not a lightbulb or heating ā¦ still no luck
Could you open the app settings page and select the Device Log tab and tap on Get Log. Once the list has populated, tap on Send Log and I will check the reported device types.
Thanks! I have sent it now.

Iām adding support for your device now and will post back when itās ready.
Fantastic, thank you!
I have just noticed there are two device types, āzigbee:ThermostatAndFanComponentā and āzigbee:ThermostatHeatingAndCoolingComponentā, with the same labels
.
One seems to be the full AC unit and is cloud only based and the other seems to be a thermostat that is also local. The āzigbee:ThermostatHeatingAndCoolingComponentā has no louver or fan speed control.
Do you have two devices in Tahoma for each AC unit or does Tahoma combine them somehow?
Iām not sure if I should just ignore the zigbee:ThermostatHeatingAndCoolingComponentā or if it should be added as a separate device in Homey?
@Marco_Picci I think this is for you.
Good evening, I love the app and work well, but I have 2 questions:
-
My Somfy universal receiver for the garage door gets off the connection every few days. After a restart everything as usual
-
I installed io blinds all over the house. Only a status to start up can be specified here (position & / or inclined position). Is it also possible to issue the command with STOP so that I have the opportunity to move the position individually?
Trigger A (1 click) goes up, trigger B (stops in this position)
Thank you for your feedback and the great work.
Greetings from Germany
Kevin
When the remote stops working again, could you open the app settings page and enable the log, then operate the remote and after that send the information log.
As there are many options with the various drivers, could you send some screen shots of the Flow cards you are using plus the different tabs in the device control tabs so I can see what you have.
At the moment my control looks something like this for each room, but it should e.g. be like this. "Button dimm down (long press), the shutters go down. Then āButton dimm down (short press)ā, which stop shutters.
The same thing when starting up, because this also sets the lamella position and thus all positions can be approached individually with 2 buttons (long & short).
Hello Adrian,
Thanks for your feedback first of all. In regards to the question, I do have 3 thermostats, one for each zone (living rooms, bathrooms and bedrooms), that are connected with TaHoma and I use only for heating. To work with TaHoma I have 3 signal receivers that connect each thermostat to TaHoma, maybe could be this the difference!
Not connected with TaHoma, I have 4 Innova Fancoils that I use only for cooling, so I donāt think are the ones you found.
I hope Iāve answered to your question
Thank you!
Could you send a link to a picture of the device so I can add it to the driver?
Yes for sure!
I have published a new test version. Can you try it with your thermostats and let me know how it goes.
I tried many times but I cannot pair the devices. Only once it appeared the Somfy window asking for username & password, but once I inserted the data disappearedā¦I send you some print screen of the messages I received. Tel me if I should do something else. Thanks!!!
Thatās weird. Could you try reinstalling the app as I wonder if itās corrupted.
When does the message appear?
tried several times to reinstall the app, but without success. I have to try more than one time to search for the device; sometimes it find nothing, sometimes pop up the Somfy window and then disappear, sometimes the error messages that I sent in my previous postā¦
Have you tried restarting Homey?
I will try now
I tried but nothing changedā¦
So, does that error appear when you tap on the tile during the pairing?
Does it happen if you select a different type?
