I am hoping it will start by itself once Somfy removes the block.
I was able to use the Somfy app on my Homey Bridge for a while, but then I got the message âFailed to send command, no valid connectionsâ when trying to operate a Somfy-device. After installing the app again it worked. But not today. Today, after installing the app again which didnât work, I also tried to log in. Now I see the message âFar Too many simple login attempts (blocked for 24 hours)â again. So the original problem has returned.
I have the same problem, flows arenât working anymore to close the roller shades.
When I press ârepairâ and login, I got the message:
âFar Too many simple login attempts (blocked for 15 minutes)â
Is there any solution yet?
Hi since a couple of hours âError: Far Too many simple login attempts (blocked for 15 minutes)â nothing seems to be working. Anyone got any ideas?
Are you both using Homey cloud?
I am using Homey Pro
Have you enabled developermode in the Somfy account to use local mode?
I have a Homey Pro 2023 and using the Somfy cloud connection, because my Somfy Connectivity Kit canât use developermode sadly.
Hi Adrian, Nov 6th around 9 AM Somfy on Homey Cloud (Premium subscription) started working again, and a bit more than an hour, it stopped working again, I see from a graph of my Somfy sun sensor. I cannot explain losing this working connection with the error 403. Do you?
Unfortunately, I have no insight into the state, so I can only guess.
According to Somfy, the lockout should only occur if there are multiple failed attempts to login. The app should now block a cloud account for 24 hours after after one failed attempt, so unless there are multiple users out there with bad credentials, I donât know what is happening.
Somfy arenât really saying much as they would like everyone to move to the local access to take the load of their servers. The fact that is not possible for many users doesnât worry them.
I can see in the developer portal that a number of users are still using older versions, but I donât know if they are cloud or pro users.
I will plead with my Somfy contact again to see if I can find a way to fix it.
bonjour, est il possible de mettre plusieurs Tahoma switch sur homey pro?
merci
Sorry, thatâs not possible. The app can only handle one account and the API doesnât allow for multiple Tahomaâs.
ok,
Câest dommage.
merci beaucoup pour votre retour et avoir répondu aussi vite.
Cordialement,
Ok, due to refurnishing and reorganising my Computer room I had to take my Connexion box offlineâŠ.
âŠto never getting online afterwards, the led is blinking red and itâ seems itâs not connection to my wifi (did not change anything to the network or settings btw)
Ok, I could reset it and connect it again I suppose, but it would require to re-add my Rollers and Screens ?
Unless someone here has a briliant idea tor re-connect it to the wifi, give it the same IP and continue where I left of ?
You should be able to reset the box without having to add your blinds again as they are stored in your account. So, AFAIK, when the box is connected it should see all your devices. At least thatâs what happens with my Tahoma box.
Oh well, I hit me when I wasnât able to monitor my heating, didnât have internet on my Wifi.
What ? No internet on my wifi ? So no wifi device works ? Check, thatâs the case.
I moved my IOT router to the computerroom, connected it to my Internetrouter, but never connected my switch to the IOT router (where my APâs are connected to).

Thatâs quite a different story than earlier today

Not sure, is forgetting a (major imortant) connection between router and pretty much the rest of the nework considered a âChangeâ ?

I would call it an âexperimentâ
.
