Now that Homey supports Matter 1.5, when will Aqara doorbell support finally arrive?
I guess its t1 it adds to homey pro but shows as unknown device ![]()
i have the same problem. It’s lumi.vibration.ag|01
Can it be added to the supported device list
You’d have to ask Aqara that.
All my Aquara smart items looses connection with Homey without showing any errors. The diagnostic code for ie my shutters 801d908f-caf4-409d-b21d-fc6b1543ddf6 if it helps.
I have reinstalled the app and restarted my whole network including Homey.
No it shows up just fine but when I try do adjust the shutters nothing happens, and as I said no errors. It also shows in my Alexa app and when I try to close or open the shutter I get “no respons”.
Hello, I’m using the FP300 with Homey. With the latest FP300 update, alarm_presence_reset_time should be possible down to 1 second. However, in Homey the minimum is still 10 seconds. What could be causing this?
I keep getting notifications that one of my Aqara Wireless Mini Switch T1 are low on battery. When I go to check it in the app, sometimes it is really low, and other times, it is at 100 %. As you can see in the pictures, it keeps swinging up and down. It is the same with all of my switches, but the graphs aren’t all alike.
So what is the real battery status?
Temperature can affect battery performance, so daily swings in temperature can cause voltage to fluctuate, which can cause readings to fluctuate. Especially with small battery powered devices, as their battery charge sensing is usually just based on the voltage output by the battery. It’s not a fault with the app, just cost savings on more simple circuitry in devices.
You need to take in to account device power draw as well as temperature changes.
The third screenshot I shared is for an Aqara FP300 PIR, mmWave radar, light, temperature and humidity sensor… from new until now. The voltage dips and recovers with varying usage and temperature, but it never goes very low and never stays low. It’s a quirk of the voltage sensing method of judging battery capacity. The more sensitive the circuit, and the smaller the battery, the more the voltage and therefore sensed remaining change indicator will fluctuate.
If you don’t believe me, do some research on battery chemistry and voltage sensing of capacity.
@Drako74, it’s true, of course, that a battery’s voltage depends on the ambient temperature. And it is also true that the battery charge level depends on the voltage.
The following screenshot was taken in Home Assistant, using data from an Aqara Opple Switch 6 Button (blue line, CR2032) and a SONOFF SNZB-02 temperature/humidity sensor (blue and yellow line, CR2450). Both devices are connected via Zigbee2MQTT, so without any connection to Homey and the Homey Aqara app. Both devices are located in the same room, about 1 to 1.5 meters apart:
First graph: Batterie state of charge of both devices
Second graph: Voltage of the Aqara Opple Switch 6 Button
Third graph: Temperature of the SONOFF SNZB-02 sensor
You can clearly see the relationship between battery voltage and state of charge (blue lines in the first and second graphs).
However, in my opinion, there does not appear to be a clear correlation between the ambient temperature and the battery voltage (blue lines in the second and third graphs).
Based on the graphs, we could possibly speculate that the battery voltage decreases at higher ambient temperatures; however, this contradicts the laws of physics, since the battery voltage should decrease at lower ambient temperatures.
@s85, however, Aqara Zigbee end devices have poor battery level monitoring, as @Drako74 has already pointed out. This issue has nothing to do with Homey or the Homey Aqara app.
Does anyone know how to get the E1 working with homey 2023? I t worked earlier but seems like it just doesnt want to connect. Yes I have tried everything, repairing. etc. :
Homey Pro Early 2023 / 13.4.1
Aqara app 1.16.3
lumi.curtain.acn002
pairing reports success
E1 immediately reports red / disconnected
node created with direct route 0 → 1
~75–76 % TX error
RX = 10
Last Seen stops updating
Extended Interview completes without restoring communication
Repair attempted, same result
factory reset + pairing close to Homey attempted
Did you try powering down Homey for 15 minutes (disconnect power)?
Hello, would it be possible to add support for the aqara fp1e with model id lumi.motion.ac0114? My homey (pro 2023) cant add it via the app and makes it an generic zigbee device. Thank you in advance!
Hello,
I’m trying to add my Aqara Vibration Sensor T1, but I can only add it as an Unknown Zigbee device rather than having it recognized by the Aqara app. I get a message saying that there is currently no compatible Homey app available.
As a result, I’m missing out on the various Flow Cards that Aqara provides. Does anyone know of a solution or workaround to get it added under the Aqara app?
Homey Pro Early 2023 / 13.4.1
Aqara app 1.16.3
T1 sensor ID: lumi.vibration.agl01
Hello David,
The following still applies:
The non-T1 (lumi.vibration.aq1) works with Homey just fine.
You beat me to it ha ha
It’s been mentioned so so many times in this forum thread… I do wonder just how many vibration sensor T1’s are sat in draws gathering dust out there in the wild ![]()
![]()
Haha yes indeed
.
Though I do hope the developer of the Aqara app finds time to add support for new(er) devices, like the T1 vibration sensor.
