This is weird indeed. I set the language of my homey to Dutch and it seems that they have indeed translated this wrong:
You would think that people from a Dutch company would know Dutch right? How could this have happened?

Really appreciate all the help.
Building my flow according to all the advices above, a new question pops up.
When I test this part of the flow first:
I would expect that the specific values of the Alarm, the device and zone would be filled in.
But when I test the message part after that, the flow says that it has to simulate the cards.
Why is that?
And how could I test the flow otherwise?

I guess i did not setup Simple (sys) Log correctly. I have been reading an searching and reading, but my knowledge of scripts, logs, etc etc fails utterly.
I dont even get what settings I should use in the Simple (Sys) Log devices server and client to get the basics work. Can I somewhere find some “starting Simple (Sys) Log for dummies” page to get started? Or is it smarter for me not to try at all, given my lack of knowledge? Maybe @Arie_J_Godschalk you have a tip for me?

I literally copied it, but unfortunately it doesn’t work for me.
I’m probably overlooking something (more ambition than knowledge here, I guess ;-)).
Is there another piece of flow that you haven’t shared, perhaps?
Would you mind sharing how you set up Simple (sys) Log? I see that something needs to be set/named on both the device server and the client, but I have not been able to find/think of what exactly.

Testen van de flow, je moet echt de rookmelder activeren dmv rook/testgas/deo.
Dat was even een hels geluid. Daarna is er toevallig een rookmelder eens afgegeaan door stof/insect maar de flow werkte toen goed
Ik zou die logica wegdoen, want je syslog heeft al die logica controles erin zitten.

@Willem59 Nee hoor. Je kan anders die SimpleSyslog weglaten en direct push bericht/tijdlijn doen in de flow.

I have quite a lot of fire and heat detectors here, which is why I thought the sys log was so useful: it saves a lot of cards in the flow.
Last question (I think/hope): what are the purple cards with Smoke Detector - … ? (I can’t read them properly): do you use them to turn the flow on or off? Why is that?
EDIT: probably a virtual device so you can also turn it off manually…

@Willem59 Ja zo is er nog een virtuele drukknop die actief wordt om ze uit te zetten in 1x.
Ik zie wel dat je de rookmelder die getriggerd wordt met de hand moet uitzetten via de knop op de melder. Ben niet 100% zeker. Want als ze afgaan wil je zo snel mogelijk handelen.
Dus uitzetten via een virtuele schakelaar of als er 1 uitgaat dan moet de rest ook uit of via push notificatie.
Maar ik heb net een nieuwe update gemaakt. Dat hij ook nog een pushnotificatie stuurt om ze uit te zetten.

2 questions in the screenshot.
1: could this when-card be skipped? You always want to set the alarms off, when one is triggered, no?
2: when the error messaging coud be done in this way, that would mean a lot seperate cards less. The chance that more than one is broken seems small to me and it is enough to know something is not working, I wonder.
Cannot test it now (as my wife gets very nervous with all the noise).
When it works I will report it here.
