Anti-burglary lighting and/or camera

After an attempted theft of some garden machinery, I am looking for a way to secure my garden shed, and especially the back of it. What is the best way to approach this? I would definitely like an outdoor light with a sensor at the back, but it should also send a notification via Homey when it turns on. The only problem is that it will notify too frequently, given that quite a few cats and other small animals (hedgehogs, rats, mice, martens, etc.) might be roaming around there, and I could get many false alarms. Are there sensors that take this into account? Or would it be better to choose a camera with AI facial recognition that sends a notification (possibly in combination with an outdoor light)? How would you solve this? Thanks in advance for your help.

Homey Pro (Early 2019)

Or use a lightbeam detection.

I used a camera with face recognition, and I’m very happy with it.

I use unify Protect. It works fine with Webhooks for the

Recognition of people, animals, cars,..

I would recommend placing a camera, ideally with cloud storage subscription (this way, the SD card can’t get removed) for collecting evidence. If you want to integrate into Homey, you can usually use the ONVIF app for motion detection. For example, Tapo mains-powered cameras support ONVIF.
