Hi,
i use a Klik Aan Klik Uit wireless transmitter type AWMT230 behind my regular light switch in both my bathroom and toilet. The transmitter, via Homey, sets my central mechanical ventilation unit at a higher volume when the light switch goes to “On” and gives a signal when switched “Off”
The annoying thing is that the wireless transmitter works on a small battery that i need to replace regularly. Since its built behind the regular light switch it means removing the complete light switch.
Question: is there a built in transmitter, without a battery!, that i can use behind my regular swith (50mm deep socket), that can be triggered by the regular light switch and can send a signal to homey?
Thanks!
I use the AWST-8802 with the same battery for many years.
However it does not switch your light, so you an extra receiver for the light to switch it on.
If you’re able to get a neutral wire there are lots of options. Personally I would go for a Shelly 1 Mini and just leave the output unconnected.
