Hi, something strange happens with my lights. They switch on or off at random moments. This happens since two weeks. I also get 2 messages on my iphone from Homey: All block ready or any block ready. Nothing has changed on my Homey Pro 2023 since 6 months. Is there a way to look into the history and see what triggers these events?
Check your flows: did you create a test flow or added test push notification flow cards to any of your flows?
No, didn’t do that. None of my flows has a push message in them. Like I said: I didn’t change a thing on my Homey in the past 6 months. But I will walk them through just to be sure.
So there isn’t a history timeline where I can check these things?
It’s the template, the template Flow sends those messages. Check your Flows, you probably saved the example flow

Just for my information: what are you referring to? I had never had a template flow in my Homey. Where can I find that template?

This happened to me for the first time yesterday, and also today at the same time. I have been using my Homey for years and it have never happened before. I have no idea if I got the template flow when I got AF…but since the notification has never triggered before yesterday this must be some kind of bug. Athom must have done something under the hood.
I have gone through all my flows and I can’t find anything that could be the source for the notifications.
Interesting that the OPs lights are acting up too…this started for me also about two weeks ago. Doesn’t seem related to the weird notifications though.

Never mind…found it. I read in another thread that someone found the flow cards with these notifications in another flow. They are below (maybe to the right of) the cards that the user has done so they are hidden until scrolling . This is not a user error…something has happened that the user had no control over. If it was that the user missed to delete the example flow for AF, or missed to erase the cards, these notifications would have been a daily occurrence since then. That some users (including me) experience this suddenly yesterday at the same time is not a coincidence…it’s a system glitch.
So for you that suddenly get these notifications go through all your flows…making sure to scroll down (and maybe to the left) and you will most likely find the ghost string of cards that triggers this.

This is a system glitch. First, if what you are saying would be true I would have gotten those notifications everyday for years…I have never seen them before.
Doing some more digging I found that the two AFs I created yesterday both have the strings. So Athom must have set some default that when a new AF is created the example string is already in place. The deceptive part is that the cards are hidden for the user unless he scrolls down in the editing window…and why would anyone do that for a basic flow?
I did a test flow just now and it was clean…so maybe Athom has found and corrected the issue or maybe it’s more complex like the system adds the cards long after the users flow is saved. I’ll keep an eye on that.
Can you show a screenshot of that part?
What was the trigger/logic before that notification? or was it that complet block in the screenshot?
I tried to reproduce on multiple Homey’s, but only on a “New” Homey where I never created a AF before the id=template showed up with the complete Example as mentioned.
Others created New empty canvas as expected. (Unless I Added ?id=template)
All on WebApp Version 1.18.8 - Local connected.
what Model and Firmware Homey did you experience it?
I had to zoom out reeeeealy far to include the default strings. I saved the flow as a copy but unfortunately I deleted my own string before that…but it was just a basic string with basic cards in it, so you’ll have to imagine them in the empty space on the top of the page.
