I can’t connect my temperature sensors to homey. Who knows how I can do it?

Does Ali sell only one brand and type Temperature sensor?
Mine worked…

Homey says “unknown zigbee device” It looks like a switch ?

Then your Homey does not have an App installed for your Brand and Type of device. Maybe provide more info if you want help from the community. We are not clairvoyant :wink:

Try the Tuya zigbee app. Otherwise, ask the app developer to include the sensors.

Or ask Athom if you have a Homey (beta)

Hi There,

3 weeks ago I bought the Homey Pro starting to play around with Ikea zigbee devices I already had. I was very happy because of the flexibility and had very big automation plans, until…

I guess I made a rookie mistake and bought many different zigbee devices on the internet to start playing around. The majority was on the internet branded as “Tuya”.

Once all devices were deliverd I tried to connect them to Homey. Eventually none of the devices which I bought could be added to the Homey. So I realized suddenly it is not that flexible as I hoped.

Is there a way to still connect those “unkown” devices?

**Added: I installed the Tuya app as well as all the apps of all the other chineses zigbee sensor manufacturers.

If you can’t find apps that support these devices, you’re out of luck. Homey has very minimal generic Zigbee support (basically only for lights and simple sockets/switches).

Thanks, understood! So I have to screen the apps for supported sensors before buying them
