Alexa not detecting Homey devices anymore

Hello, since a few weeks, Alexa won’t add devices from Homey. I don’t have any specific error message. The « discover devices » command on Alexa will only reply with « no new device detected ».

I tried a lot of options with Homey support or by myself, even resetting my network. But nothing seems to work.

However Alexa is still able to command existing devices.

I also recently added a Ring camera which was recognized by Alexa (but Ring is part of Amazon).

If some of you have suggestions, it would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot

Hi there,

I had the exact same problem…

But at least the existing devices were working.

Now everything is down :face_with_spiral_eyes:

Bonjour

Depuis une semaine, la connexion entre l’enceinte show et homey ne fonctionne plus

Avez-vous la même chose ?

Merci

It’s a shame Homey does not even explore if the issue could be on the server side  For some devices I managed to share devices with sharing Matter enabled devices with Alexa but it works with basic features only.

I have also recently come across this,
a few weeks ago i purchased some Aqara roller blind drivers, i was able to use the Zwave device addition to get Alexa to find them no problem.

But yesterday i installed a Fibaro Dimmer 2 switch ( I already have one which is working fine with Homey and Alexa this was a 2nd one i purchased ) but Alexa will not detect the device.
If anyone does managed to get anything to work please do share.

Thanks!

Just setting up my new Homey Pro and Alexa is NOT discovering its devices.

I found that after a week of the new device being active on Homey i was able to then finally discover it in Alexa, I am not sure if there was something stopping it from the Alexa side that was resolved but it did eventually work.

I wish i had something more useful to advise on how i got mine to work that you might be able to use! :frowning:
