i’m awaiting the arrival of my new Homey pro. I have all my smart home products in the SmartLife app…
My question is , when adding the smartlife app or tuya app with my smart products in it to homey, will they work locally or still cloud based?
Is it smarter to delete all smart products from the app and start over with discovering products via homey?
I have tuya switches, ikea bulbs and a lot of tuya BLE led spotlights
You can keep using your Tuya devices. It will work over the cloud, but it’s pretty stable. You will need a Tuya BLE or MultiMode gateway to continue using your Tuya BLE devices with Homey.
The IKEA bulbs can connect either directly to Homey (via ZigBee) or through the DIRIGERA gateway (via LAN)

So the Tuya BLE spotlights does not connect directly through homey’s bluetooth antenna?
No, that’s not possible. You need either a Tuya BLE gateway or a Tuya MultiMode gateway to use them with Homey.
