I just got a homey pro and 5 bridges to control my home with. So far so good.
I have a distributed sound system in the house that is powered by Arylic amps and preamps.
Much to my surprise, there is no support for these devices in the database, and I am super lost as to how to get this to work seeing that learning/teaching codes on the Homey Pro is also no longer supported.
I was able to find the following from Arylic (see bottom of page) - all of their finished devices and dev boards use the same codes, so surely getting this added into the IR database could help a lot of people.
Are there any community developers that may be able to help me with this?
There are several IR blasters that do work with Homey. I have direct experience of the Broadlink devices and the Switchbot hub. Both can learn from your existing remotes.
I use Switchbot scenes to send multiple IR commands.
Thanks Andy. I did see that as a solution but I already dropped a grand on homey bridges so if there’s a way to make it work in software I’d love to.
I did find that I can create a flow to send a pronto hex code which worked, but now the next problem is that when I do it that way, I cannot get homey to let me define which bridge sends that IR code. This is so frustrating.
Also totally off topic, but my bridges are not even extending my z wave network so most of my light switches don’t even work in the house. I thought this was going to be a big upgrade for my smart home system but I’m starting to think it was just a waste of money. Support has been unresponsive on both issues.
