Hi, I have Homey v1 with 5.0.0-tc.38 and iOS app version 6.1.0.633 where I am trying hard in last 3 days to add a new user into my family list. I tried in 3 different iPads and iPhones without a success! Any workaround for this ? Thanks,

I create a new user and login to iOS app and then I create a invitation link from other iPhone where I a admin and that link is not working at the 1st iPhone where the new user is created. When I click the link it opens the Homey iOS app but is not adding the Homey. S,

FAMILY AND FRIENDS Same with my Homey Pro, family (wife) just gets link to the logon site. NOT WORKING

[image] Hjulstad: WORKING Just create an (Homey) Account for every family member, Share the link, you do not need to know an email address from a member, just need a way to share the link. That is working here. (And every member needs an own account!!! https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/360012615814-Adding-managing-removing-user-accounts-on-Homey)

Many thanks for replying Did you use the same email for family, or does that not matter?

It depends on the scenario / automation you want to do but 90% of the time I would go with separate accounts, each with their own email address.

[image] Hjulstad: for family, or does that not matter? It does matter, You can’t add a second account with the same email as yours, in that case you don’t add family but log on to their phone with your account… giving everything out to their hands. It will l be lonely in Homey. (don’t knowing who is home, who is asleep…) [image] [image][Info] Homey - Homey Bridge - Homey Pro Maximums / Limitations Email/user To use a Homey / the Service you need an Athom-account. Each Athom-account needs an unique email address. Every person (user) should have an own Athom-account, you can share credentials but that’s not the purpose. (fe using presence)

For the Guest user: go to Homey Account and make an account (Email + Password) : one for every guest user. Guest User: install Homey Pro app, and log in using the account (you made at step 1). Do nothing else in the App. Homey Admin: make an invitation ( https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/360012615814-Adding-managing-removing-user-accounts-on-Homey ) and send it to new guest user (e.g. via WhatsApp). This link works for every new guest user. Guest User: Click on the link and the Homey App will open, asking you to accept the invitation. That’s all. Now, Homey people: was that so hard to describe ?? The Homey Admin will see that the guest is added and (can be) active.

The issue we are experiencing is that the link will not open the app even though it is installed.

Did you login to the app with the new user account, prior to following the invitation link?

Yes, of course. Popup disabled etc. Have Googled and checked all Android settings. Same issue on 2 x phones.

Add a “Family Member” function is not working! Any help please?
