It was reported as a github issue that this event is actually not supported by the device and this is also what I’ve seen in the deconz community. You actually get events from the device for this gesture??
I always use this events
*dim down single press
*dim down button held
*dim up single press
*dim up button held
It works always for me, so it was before you change it a “4 button” switch
My square dimmer emits these events:
- single press up (1002)
- single press down (2002)
- long press up start (1001)
- long press up release (1003)
- long press down start (2001)
- long press down release (2003)
My bad, I’ll create a hotfix then. No need to change anything, it will work again in the next few days;)
Solved thanks
To what port does the test version check to “test”, and to get the config data? Because it’s not working for me, the app itself is.
It uses exactly the same settings that are used for the communication. Can you try the following:
- ensure the config is correct, click save to be sure
- go to the support page and click reload, does that work?
Config is correct, because it works ;-), on support page reload results in ‘error’ and the about page does not give any info at all.
Auto detect doesn’t work either btw…
that’s probably because if I do a GET to https://dresden-light.appspot.com/discover i’m getting [ ] as return.
I had the same problem today. I spent all last week getting the ConBee II to run.
Try a different USB port. Maybe it can also be caused by the extension cable (if in use).
Uw but deconz just works , so does the stick.
Very strange, this has nothing to do with https://dresden-light.appspot.com/discover responding with an empty array. The “Test” button really only loads the state and nothing else. Were you in the same wlan as your homey and deconz when you tried it?
Yes, same network. deCONZ not WLAN obviously but same network never the less. It keeps saying ‘unable to connect to the gateway, please check the configuration’. Is there something I can check for you? I don’t have any firewalling at all.
What I did change recently was the IP address of deCONZ, and changed it in the deCONZ app. Maybe there still is a reference to the old IP?
That reminds me. After changing the IP address into the new one, all sensors worked immediately. The HUE light bulb didn’t. When turning it on it gave an error saying it could not be reached by the old IP. After rebooting homey (not just the app) it worked again.
Maybe your ip adress ans ws port are correct, but the port not? That would explain why you get push updates ut everything outside won’t work
Don’t think so, because I can browse to it with any browser. And:

The test button basically does nothing else than loading http://[ip]:[port]/api/[key]. Can you load this from a browser?
It runs on the default port 80. So when I type your URL it is http://deconz.lan/api/KEY it results in lots a lots of info starting with"
{"config":{"UTC":"2020-07-14T08:04:43","apiversion":"1.16.0","backup":{"errorcode":0,"status":"idle"},"bridgeid":"00212EFFFF05ACF2","datastoreversion":"60","devicename":"ConBee II","dhcp":true,"factorynew":false,"fwversion":"0x26580700","gateway":"192.168.0.1","internetservices":
Seems to be correct, right?
This result looks fine, I could imagine however that for some reason your phone might not reslve deconz.lan properly or that the request is not allowed (are you using an iphone)? The good part is that you seem to have not a real problem as only the test fails?
Btw: the next update will ensure that all the communication goes trough the homey. So currently the test call gets performed from your phone and in the future it will be performed directly by home and the result is sent to the phone
No, no problems here, so yes, that’s fine. The deconz.lan is my internal network and is getting resolved fine by my iphone. I can get the same result on my iphone, so it does seem a bit weird.
Looking forward to the next update!
I just received the Aqara Opple Zigbee 3.0, 6 button switch. Each button has 1x press, 2x press and press and hold. So a total of 18 devices/scenes that can be controlled from a 13 euro device. Only the thing is it appears it behaves a little bit different in Deconz. I was wondering if it is technically possible to add to Homey? This is what I read/found so far:
- Supported in Deconz en Home Assistant
- I can not control it from within Phoscon
- It makes 1 JSON entrie in rest-api/lights
