PostNL for Homey
View expected mail items and PostNL parcels directly in Homey. The app uses PostNL’s personal, non-public interface and may therefore require changes if PostNL updates its mobile app or sign-in procedure. With two convenient widgets, you can see at a glance what mail and parcels are on their way.
Linking your PostNL account

Download the PostNL Homey Login Helper here, then extract the ZIP file. The helper is a Google Chrome extension.

Open
chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and select Load unpacked. -
In Homey, go to Add Device → PostNL → My PostNL.

Copy the URL shown below the Open PostNL button, paste it into a new browser window, and sign in to your PostNL account.

The helper automatically captures the callback. Return to the PostNL App Settings, click Open PostNL, paste the callback into the input field that appears, and complete the sign-in process.

You can then add the My PostNL device.
The Homey app and browser helper do not store your PostNL password. Never share callbacks or tokens with anyone.
The app automatically checks the current PostNL iOS app version every day, retrieves new data every five minutes, and performs additional checks around midnight for new My Post items. Mail item information and images are stored locally in Homey for a maximum of 21 days.
PostNL does not provide a public consumer API. If a non-public My Post endpoint changes, the My PostNL device will remain available and parcel tracking will continue to work. The device status and widget will then indicate that My Post is temporarily unavailable, instead of making the entire device unavailable.
Important: Use the same email address of your account are registered at PostNL app or website.

I’ve got it running on my Homey and added two widgets to my dashboard. The only thing I’ve noticed so far is that something’s off with the driver icon.

Multiple PostNL accounts: PostNL accounts are now linked per device instead of through App Settings. This means you can add multiple My PostNL devices, each connected to its own PostNL account.
New device pairing: Adding a PostNL device now includes the complete login flow. Simply open or copy the PostNL login URL, sign in, copy the callback using the Chrome Login Helper and paste it directly into Homey.
Per-device reconnect: If credentials expire, you can reconnect only the affected PostNL device without affecting your other accounts.
Timeline notification for expired credentials: Homey now sends a localized Timeline notification when a PostNL account needs to be reconnected.
Flow cards improved: Trigger cards and their tokens are now fully device-dependent. This improves reliability when using multiple PostNL accounts.
Widgets updated for multiple accounts: My Post and My Package now work with the PostNL device selected in the widget settings.
Important after updating to v1.1.0: Please edit your existing PostNL widgets once and select your PostNL device again. This reactivates the widget with the new per-device configuration.
Improved login screen: The pairing screen now uses proper Homey controls with separate Copy URL and Open PostNL buttons.
