2 seperate accounts

I am a builder using Homey for home automation. I am trying to associate 2 separate Homeys in 2 separate locations with 2 separate accounts. The related email name and password are the same for both accounts. If I change one account the other accounts follow.

Any suggestions

I don’t know how you managed to create two accounts with one email address.
AFAIK you can create max. one account with one unique email address, so imho you’d have to create another account with an other email address.

When you invite the second account as user with ‘manager’ rights, you can do almost the same things as the account with owner rights.
You’ll have to login as owner only for managing users and system updates

So, like this:
Homey_1: owner = user_1
Homey_2: owner = user_2

Homey_1: invite user_2 as manager
Homey_2: invite user_1 as manager

Now user_1 (or user_2) can operate both Homey’s.

I am trying to separate the accounts. I do not want user 1 to operate user 2 homey. When I created the accounts, I used different emails. When I go to the acount settings in either account the wetting are the same. If I change one account, the other account changes.

You should contact Athom: https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/360015784034-Submitting-a-support-request

So this is not the case?

If I click on the my account tab in either account the same name, email, show up. I link alexa and recognize devices on one account, the other account says itsl linked, but no devices are discovered.

When I click on my account the same devise shows up on both accounts.

You cannot have two accounts with the same e-mailadres. As how would you or the system distinguish between the two. So it might look you have two entries in the accountlist, but they are stil the same. In order to know which Homey is linked to the account, give your Homey’s distinct names.
For more clarifications, just share a print screen showing the two accounts.

I figured it out. I think.

Maybe you can share your solution, so we all can learn from it. This is a community forum, not a helpdesk

user error, to embarrassing to share.
