COMPATIBILITY

Most Reolink cameras are supported in Homey, particularly the E Series (indoor cameras like E1, E1 Pro, E1 Zoom) and the RLC Series (outdoor PoE cameras). These models provide local access via RTSP and ONVIF, which enables reliable features such as snapshots, motion detection, and automations.

Some newer or battery-powered models, including parts of the Argus Series, Duo Series, and TrackMix Series, may require a Reolink Home Hub or NVR. These devices often do not expose full standalone APIs, so integration works through the hub rather than directly.

A smaller group of cameras, mainly 4G/LTE models and certain battery devices, are not supported. These rely on cloud-only communication and do not offer the local access required for Homey.

NOTES

  • Dual-lens cameras (TrackMix, Duo) support multiple streams only when connected standalone. Hub/NVR connections show a single stream.
  • Ensure your camera firmware is up to date for best compatibility.
  • Cameras must be on the same network as Homey or accessible via your NVR/Hub.

Does this support battery cameras such as the Argus 3 range like the Argus 3 Ultra?

The app has been really slow for some time now as an experimental app

They are both are supported.

COMPATIBILITY

Standalone Cameras
Most Reolink Wi-Fi and PoE cameras with a built-in web interface work directly with Homey.

NVR/Home Hub Required
These models do not have a direct API and require a connection via an NVR or Home Hub:

  • E1, E320, E321, Lumus, E430
  • B-Series: B400, B500, B500W, B800, B800W, B1200
  • D-Series: D400, D500, D800, D1200

Not Supported
LTE (4G) cameras cannot be integrated:

  • Go Plus, Go PT Plus, Go PT Ultra
  • Go Ranger PT, Go Ultra
  • TrackMix LTE, TrackMix LTE Plus

At the moment only thought the device controls. The currently working on all the action flowcards that are not standard.

Been using this app for about a month since Leendert added support for your E560 in v1.0.10.:blush:
And I also see that there has been more motion features on the doorbell, and that is nice​:blush:
Next on my wishlist is flow card which moves the camera to at preset point based on a trigger(when)?
Ex: Someone opens the garage door, then set preset point to “GARAGEZOOM” and take snapshot and send snapshot something something.
I’m up for testing if needed​:+1:

Great! I would like to suggest a functionality by triggering the Alarm from the camera’s. It will be a perfect add-on to my Eufy security + Reolink cams.

The doorbell is a bug and will be fixed in coming release. I’ll add zoomIn/zoomOut cards but I do not have a test device to verify the correct working.

Question, why does the doorbell ringing card have a duration and what purpose does the duration have? Surely we just need a doorbell rung card. Also in version 1.0.12, the doorbell ringing card does not seem to be firing when the doorbell is rung. I’m using the WiFi wired doorbell via home hub pro.

First of all, thanks for the great work on the Reolink app!

I wanted to share something about the livestreams. On my phone everything is fine, but on my Samsung Tab A8 (used as a dashboard) the screen stays black.

I found out that the tablet just can’t handle the high-res stream. I tested this by adding the camera via the ONVIF app and forced it to use the low-res stream. That worked instantly on the Tab A8! So, if it’s possible, maybe it’s an idea to add an option to choose between the high-res and low-res stream in the app settings?

Also, I agree with Bazmandude about the doorbell trigger. Why does the card have a duration? It’s a bit confusing. A simple “doorbell rings” trigger (without the seconds) would be much more useful for flows.

The duration is something that has changed recently (default capabilities get this option always)
