Since Fibaro is transitioning into Nice, we haven’t received a definitive roadmap or plan yet. I’ll check with my contacts to see if we can get access to the Fibaro OTA files as well, good suggestion.

For now, we’ve decided to offer OTA updates exclusively through Homey apps. The main reason is that we need to be able to support users when things go wrong, and that’s difficult if users can manually flash incorrect firmware onto their devices. While we could add a large disclaimer, we’ve chosen not to go down that route at this stage.
That said, we’re absolutely keen to support as many devices and brands as possible. If there are any specific brands you’d like to see supported, feel free to let us know and we’ll do our best to get the required OTA files and add support.
