You mean like chargers with some kind of handshake protocol Tesla uses on their SuCs? And in Europe, Fastned implemented this as well.
I am having problems adding my Zaptec Go in homey. I login with username and password and do not get an error on those, but after a few seconds, I just get no new units found.
Have tried to uninstall and install the app, and rebooted homey in between but still no luck.
Any advice?
I will guess if you try to add the charger, get a message that there is no devices found, make a diagnostiv report in the app menu and share the diagnostic report code. Then @pwad will get the information he needs to advice you further.
Even though you asked @pwad about this, I took the liberty to check in the API documentation, and there is no such opportunity in the API. You should ask Zaptec to add it to the API first, then it would be possible in theory to add the option if @pwad have the time.
Not handshake, but the Zaptec native app has the option to require authentication either with rfid-card or in the app, before it starts charging.
Can you add the possibility to change the maxChargePhases property of the charger? Possible values are 1 and 3.
I tried to make a flow to make the charger only charge with the energy my solar panels produce. But because the minimum value for the charging power is 6A and my charger is connected to three phases, it charges with about 4 KW, which is more than my solar panels produce. I think I can lower this when I can switch the charger to use only one phase.
zaptec go cannot charge 1phase. therefore the minimum A of charging ist 3x6A. (4140W)

3 phase or 1 phase, is determinated when you install the charger. Not a part of the API.
Actually it is, at least for Pro chargers. Are you able to change the settings in Zaptec portal? We might be able to create a flow card for this, if we are allowed to change it. What about min/max currents?

Zaptec app via hacs to HA. There is possible to remove tex Tibber from controlling the charger. It would be great if that would work with homey to.
