Hello,

Looking for some general help with flows and devices.

Recently some of my flows have just stopped working as they have over the past 18x months. I’ve kept them very simple so that they are reasonably maintenance free.

Example 1 - Underfloor heating using Heatit controller which has been in use for over 18x months - now doesn’t respond - I’ve raised a separate post in that topic area but still can’t understand why it has just stopped recognising the device.

Example 2 - I created a simple flow to open / close an Aqara motor controlled blind in the morning and the evening. Again, this has been flawless over the past 9x months but this week it doesn’t want to activate.

Example 3 - I use a Hue Tap Dial to control lighting in the family room. This was one of my first flows and have had no issues for 18x months but this week it decides that it will control another lamp periodically as well as the lamps it’s supposed to control.

Anyone have any words of wisdom that they can throw my way as to why these problems may have arisen?

Maybe this is since the last update 12.4.0 ?

Do you get any errors when you test the flows?

Did you try to restart the respective apps in Homey?

What changed in your setup since you encounter these problems?

More questions

  1. Are those devices all zigbee devices?
  2. Is it about Homey Cloud, Pro 23 or previous models?
  3. Any recent involved app updates?
  4. Did you add any device before the issues occurred? Related to:

Hi,

No errors when the flows are tested. All apps restarted and no changes to my set-up.

Hi,

  1. Yes, all items are zigbee devices.
  2. Homey Pro 23
  3. Can’t see any app updates.
  4. No devices added.

And what about a recent firmware update like RMB mentioned?
Is Homey on auto-update, or do you install those yourself?

Homey is on auto-update although some apps have not updated.
