Hi, does anyone have a simple way of increasing the power output of a sonoff dongle p to 20dB whilst in the Homey network? I have used these for increasing signals around the house and garden.
You either have to find a precompiled router firmware that has the 20dB transmit power hardcoded, or compile one yourself.
Also, increased transmission power output doesn’t necessarily mean you get a better network: the main issue with bad networks isn’t that router devices lack transmission power, but that battery-powered end devices are too far away from the next router device. Increased transmission power doesn’t fix that.
