USB/UPS/Ethernet

Hi

  1. Anyone been trying to split USB and for example connect UPS?
  2. It is said that Homey should not stand too close to WiFi router but if I use Ethernet adapter then will it be ok or still problem?
  1. It will not work.
If you have a NAS, you can use it as a “UPS server”. Synology has this option built-in. You just need to tick a checkbox in control panel. Then use “Network UPS Tools (NUT)” Homey app to get information about UPS status from your NAS.
  2. There may be problem if you’re using ZigBee or BT devices as both uses 2.4 GHz frequency and may be interfered with WLAN transmission.
