URL web address

Hi everyone,

I have setup my homey app and wasnt given an url to load on my tablet. Where would i find the url address

Why would you need a URL when you have the Homey app installed?
No judging, I just wonder what you’d like to achieve.

https://my.homey.app.

You will not find a dashboard there, but pretty much other things you do.
Including Advanced Flows (on HP23 or if you have bought them for your earlier Homey).
Those are only available through the webinterface.

I bought a new home and it has a tablet and I was told that once the homey account is transferred to me . I will get a url to load on this tablet . I have the app working and have no idea how to get this tablet working . Would love it if someone knows what to do

The Homey app only works on iOS and Android, or in a regular web browser via https://my.homey.app

What kind of tablet is this exactly?

Yes I need to know how to operate on an android device. I need a web browser address to input . It is a blank screen when I input https://my.homey.app address

The device is a model xds-1588 Andriod tablet

Hi Elaine,

Doesn’t it show 2 app store “buttons”, and below that, the very subtle line “continue with web app”?
Did you create a Homey account already?
Can you access the Homey per mobile app?

In theory you’d be able to install the Homey app as well:

I am supposed to use homey.ink . The device is the smart signboard .

When I login to my homey account . It is showing this

This is just one of many dashboards.
If you want to use it, here’s the howto

To me it’s very odd the web app doesn’t load (https://my.homey.app)

That’s why I suspect you first need to setup Homey with your network and your account, OR the handed over account from the previous owner.
You’d use the Homey app on your smartphone to install / configure it.

What Homey model did you find btw? Pro 2023 (hockey puck) or Pro 2016-2019 (white ball)?

From the brochure, it seems the device runs Android 7. My guess is that the browser that comes with that is just too old to be able to run the current web app.

Didn’t check the OS version! Yeah, that’s probably the reason the app won’t install either and homeydash.com is advised to use as dash (and that dash works fine on my old Android 7 tab)
