For anyone else finding this old thread, I am no longer using the method above, having instead switched over to Music Assistant which you run either stand-alone or as an app on a Home Assistant instance. Enables flow cards for announcements via HomePods, doorbell chimes and controlling music, radio, podcasts and more. For me this is pretty much the Holy Grail of HomePod integration with Homey.
