TTS for Sonos

Hi,

According to Dennie de groot, you need Chromecast on sonos to support his app: https://apps.athom.com/app/com.google.tts

But according to this topic, it seems to be possible

Is someone be able to make an app for Homey and Sonos? I really would like to have TTS to a Sonos Speaker like it works with (in my case) Google Home Mini.

I have created an Athom App that makes use of node-sonos-http-api to send out speech from your flow. Setup up a node-sonos, install the app, point the settings to your node-sonos instans. Then you just add the Text to Speech in your flow and wola, your sonos will start talking. Since the app needs you to install node-sonos on a separat instance the app will not be approved for the official app store (tried and got declined). Uhmmmm… first of all… welcome!
Second… not really but it is a very good start. At least the proof it is really possible. Preferable i had a done app for homey.
I already have a simple server for P1 Monitor, dashboard for homey on a raspberry pi, and now maybe this … so I’m very curious

Maybe someone can write a full app for homey. I the meanwhile i can try this.
