Triggers or alarms based on inactivity

Hi everyone.
I posted this to athom,but they suggested I post here.

Id like to know if its possible to trigger alarms and/or push notifications if there have been no changes from a particular device over a set timeframe.

eg, my temp sensors should report every few minutes. Id like to get an alarm if the last time they reported was more than 3 hours ago.
Reason for this, is twice I have just had them stop for a few days and didnt realise. A simple reset fixed it, but I would have preferred to know sooner.
