You can start any mood any time.
yes but how do you transition to one over time. It seems to be just immediately switch to the new mood rather than slowly bring it in or slowly dim away.
Sorry, don’t know, never used it.
@Steve_Nye I think there are multiple ways to do this if the mood only adjusts brightness, and not color or on/off state is to configure the dimming duration on settings page of the lights if the app of the manufacturer supports that. This is of course not a one stop solution as there are many situations where this will not work. 1. Some manufacturers do not support this feature. 2. It only works on dim level, and not with any color setting or on/off state.
Another way to implement this is by using the Circadian app.
With this app, you can create circadian zones. These zones act like lights, and they also work together with moods. When you add the circadian zone to a mode, and activate that mood, the circadian zone will go into manual mode. You can then create a flow that ties the values of the circadian zone to the actual light, and you can use the Chronograph app to create a transition for this.
This implementation also has one limitation in that it can only adjust brightness and temperature. So it will not work with all possible RGB colors. But tbh, Unless you are a 16 year old TikTok influencer, this should be all you need.
