I have tried using the “set up” process via Homey, but I only get time out error. So I used the FH hub instead. Going into hub, reset to factory settings. Start a new set up thru the FH hub and Bluetooth on my phone. In the end you can choose how you want the FH charge how it’s going to communicate with the FH hub. You can choose either WiFi or via zigbee.(or nothing) If you choose wifi, you will get a overview of WiFi networks to choose from. If you choose zigbee (direct to hub) and on next page in set up you press “start”. Charger and hub starting “pairing” and are looking for each other thru zigbee. Now, if you disconnect FH hub, in this process you should have the chance to make Homey connect to the charger instead. I’m not able to do so, even the Homey is two foot away from charger. If I connect the FH hub again this is pairing via zigbee when I start the process over again. Must be something with the FH app in Homey that doesn’t “understand” the pairing signal from charger. This is the best explanation I can give.
Hei,
Thanks for the explanation, but unfortunatly o do not have the FH hub. I bought the charge cause on paper it was the best choice, and usually zigbee devices are easy to pair with anything. If there is an issue with the addon, it would be even better to get the bluetooth message one should send. Maybe i can figure out something myself.
Any updates on the leakage sensors?
I have Future Home hub in two homes, and more than 50 attached pucks/unites in each home. The units are of various brands as HeatIt, Namron, Futurehome, Shelby, Qubino, etc, both Zigbee and Z-wave.
I want to move over to Homey Pro hub. It would be a TERRIBLE job if I have to open all wall boxes, find the hidden puck, and unpair/reset and re-pair each of them physically, PARTICULARLY if I have to disconnect and reconnect due to the pairing must be done close to the hub, with preliminary wiring.
Is it possible by any means to “transfer" all pairings over to the Homey Hub, without physical intervention at 50+ places around in the property?
Unfortunately not, all devices need to be removed from the Futurehome hub and paired directly with Homey. That’s simply how the technical integration works.
When you delete a device from Futurehome, it should automatically enter pairing mode again. The best approach is to remove and re-add the devices one by one.
Hi everyone,
I’m having an issue with my Futurehome Charge connected to Homey Pro via Zigbee.
Here’s my setup:
-
Car: VW ID.4
-
Charger: Futurehome Charge
-
Hub: Homey Pro
-
Network: Zigbee mesh with several IKEA smart plugs (signal seems strong)
-
Futurehome Hub: Tried both connected and disconnected — no difference
When I press Start in the Charge app in Homey, the charging session starts, but immediately stops again. The Homey app shows the message:
“Futurehome stopped charging.”
When I test communication through Homey developer tools, the device responds instantly to pings, so the connection seems stable.
Has anyone experienced the same issue, or have suggestions for what might be wrong? Could this be a firmware issue or something with how the integration handles start/stop commands?
Any ideas or troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance ![]()
Noone have any ideas? I had it working for a couple of days, but had an electrician here doing some work, he turned off the main switch, and when he turned it on again, Homey can’t seem to connect to the Charge anymore. Is there any way to re-connect the Zigbee connection? Last time I deleted the Charge app and re-installed it on the Homey. Takes a long time, and I had to make all the flows from start again. There has to be a better way? …
