Thermometer that can withstand high temperatures of approx. 250 degrees

Looking for a thermometer that can read when it’s time to add more wood.
Do you have any suggestions?

Best regards

Maybe you can try this Shelly device and find a sensor what uses the same protocol that Shelly uses
https://www.shelly.com/en/products/shop/shelly-plus-add-on

The Meater ambient sensor should be able to handle max. 275 degrees Celsius

Other (budget) idea: point a luminance sensor towards the fire. When it’s luminance value is lower then X lux, time to add more wood.
Not tested, just a brainfart

Thanks for the help,
None of the thermometers are accurate.
Shelly, I can’t find a sensor that can handle more than 125 degrees and
MEATER, the battery only lasts a maximum of 48 hours.

But I’m going to try luminance to see if you can make it work (thinking of soot, sun and lights) but if you’re using Homey, you shouldn’t be afraid to test.
Has anyone used homey to more than 100 degrees?

Ah, didn’t check / think of that.

How should I read your q.? I assume you don’t put Homey near the fire😜
