Switching to external MQTT broker: all connections lost?

As by advice from Athom I’m looking into switching from the MQTT broker Homey app to a broker on my NAS. Will this break all existing MQTT connections to Home Assistant?

I have an elaborate dashboard with over 150 MQTT connections between Homey en HA. Manually changing them is not something I’m looking forward to, so will changing the broker break these connections?

No,
You only have to change the IP address of the broker in Homey and HA, then everything works as before.
