I would love to see a Home state/mode function, similar to User state, but independent of individual users, but a possibillity to automaticly set modes when the last person leaves, first comes home etc.
With an icon on top of the apps and pull down for manual selection of modes.
With different modes for the home like Home, Away, Night, Holliday etc.
With when, and, and then flowcards.
And a tool where you can select what happens when activating a state.
Example: when selecting holliday, set all climate to 5C, and turn off all in selected areas and selected devices. And even better turn selected lights on/off at random times.

I happened to come across your idea. You’ve probably already found a solution for your Homey by now since your post is from 2024, but a few months ago I built an app based on very similar ideas, so it might be interesting for you.
With my app, you can change your home’s mode using flows, but you can also have it switch modes automatically based on the presence status of the people connected to your Homey.
For example, when the mode changes to Vacation, you can automatically adjust the thermostat, turn lights on or off according to a schedule, and automate many other things without having to create lots of separate flows.
It also includes device monitoring, so you can easily see when appliances, such as your washing machine, have finished.
Of course, I completely understand if you no longer need something like this, but I still wanted to give you the opportunity to take a look at the app in case it’s useful to you.
