Sonos units dropped out and need to re-add all

Today none of my flows with sonos worked anymore. The flow indicated “device not available”. none of the devices worked anymore. So checked the sonos app. restarted, and repaired. did not help. I then tried to add a sonos device, and all my sonos devices popped up, i.e. ALL of then had disapeared. I now have all old ones, and the new one, and need to repair all my flows, by replacing the old device by the new one.

I find it really strange that this can happen (and it has happend before) any idea how that is possible, and how to ensure it does not happen in the future?

I have all sonos devices on a fixed IP address in my router…

Strangely enough my HA devices did not have this problem

Most probably a restart of your router and access points solves it (next time).
I think it’s mDNS related.
