Maybe it suffers from interference by your (or your neighbor’s) 2.4GHz wifi signal?
Thread uses the same radio and thus the same 2.4GHz frequency band as zigbee @ Homey
Next, Homey uses the same chip for Thread & zigbee, called Multiprotocol, which comes with a price for you. When you either use many Thread and/or many zigbee devices, things are going south on one side or either side.
Multiprotocol is considered a bad idea in hindsight, and it’s recommended to use separate hardware if you like to use both Threat and zigbee next to eachother.

Note: when adding your first Matter-over-Thread / zigbee device, Homey picks the best channel to use.
It’s important you’ve fixed the wifi 2.4GHz channel to preferrably 1 or 11 prior to that.
