I have Dooya awning motor DM45RD-50/12(fixed code, not rolling) with remote DC1600A.
Brel replied to me via email that this combination was not supported on homeypro on via the Brel app, because the Brel app would only work with Brel awnings.
I tested, and it worked fine. I can control the awning in, out and stop position.
I selected “Remote controlled” in the Brel app, and followed the instructions: push a button on the remote control, and then it was immediately recognized by homeypro, and the setup process began.
Anybody know if there is a way to get the LED lights working on homeypro?
I know this topic has been marked Solved, but as I am having the same issues and not being able to solve it, I hope it is okay to “jump” this thread.
I bought 3 outdoors shades, called RS Smart 100 Screens with a solar motor. The motor is called Faher Solar BI and should to the best of my knowledge just be a branded version of the Brel DD series. The remote I have is a Faher DD2702H 15ch which again is the same as you, Auke, shows on your picture.
I have a Homey Pro (early 2019) and have tried several of the apps mentioned in this thread, but cannot get Homey to react on the learning part. It just keeps being on the page that states that I should press a button on the remote (and I do! :-)), but nothing happens.
I also tried restarting Homey and even had it unplugged for 45 min.
I have some Somfy RTS curtains, which works without any issues, so my Homey 433MHz does work :-).
Any suggestions what to do?
I do not have a hub and the specs for the setup is:
Homey Pro (early 2019)
Version 12.5.0
The apps I have tried: Brel, Brel Motors, Motion Blinds, Sunway.
Thanks for the answer, I am however a bit in doubt what you suggest.
So I could change the remote to one-way - then it should work with learning Homey?
(and then change back to bi-directional and the remote should be usable again I guess?)
When you change the mode of the remote control it might work with Homey, but not with your motors. So you will never be able to control your motors from Homey.
And it might explain why the topicstarter has solved his problem, as he most likely has different motors.
