I just set up a Homey Pro. I’ve been moving my Z-wave and Zigbee devices from my SmartThings Aeotec hub. I’ve run in to several devices that can be paired with Homey, but are not fully supported, or work as well as they do in SmartThings.
For this handful of devices, I want to keep them on the SmartThings hub and use one of the SmartThings integration apps to expose them to Homey. I just realized that the SmartThings access tokens now expire after 24 hours. As of the present time, May 2026, is there a good way to integrate SmartThings with Homey? I don’t need to integrate appliances, it is switches and sensors.
Thank you
You can use Olisto and Webhooks, it’s what I use for my Smart Monitor M5’s
Use smartthings with Home Assistant and then bridge over from HA to Homey. Works brilliantly. 2 apps for homey / home assistant links to get what you need over.
However looks like smarthings now going to charge £5 a month for api so not sure how this will affect any apps/links like Home Assistant etc
You can connect ST to Google Home and create virtual devices in Homey, and then create Google Home automations to sync the real device from ST to the virtual device from Homey. Works only for on/off devices though. Then you don’t need any API subscription
I guess this would work with Alexa too?
Probably with Routines, but I’m not sure. Note that you don’t necessarily need a Google Home device to use the Google Home app with the automations
