Smart central ventilation fan 💨

I searched the form but couldn’t find the old central fan I got and only need help to connect my Fibaro dimmer 2 on my central ventilation fan.

I’m not interested in the 3 stands, I want to control it on and off only. What wire I need to connect to the dimmer and back to the fan?

Seems like you got two speeds. Common is L3, L2 is slow, L1 is high. But i really do not think it is a good idea to tinker with this by yourself. Call an electrician.

It seems to me that you have three speeds.
Between N(eutral) and L(ive)3 it’s the lowest speed.
Between N and L2 it’s medium speed.
And between N and L1 it’s the highest speed.
So if you just want one speed i’d say use N and L1 but if your house is good insulated I would recommend to also use L3 constant which causes a constant slow running of your fan.
That way you have a always ventilation in your home.

Most of the older fans don’t mind if you use one (L3) on a constant power and put power on another to let the fan go faster.
But, to be sure, switch between them.

The dimmer won’t work at all. As others said, your fan has three speeds. If you want to use all three then you need two fibaro dual relays or one dual and one single (or any other brand than fibaro)

I’ve got similar setup for my three speed fan, with two Fibaro dual relays. The spare contact is wired nowhere but I have the respective input wired into a momentary switch. Pressing the switch cycles my fan through the three speeds then stops it. Of course with the help of a series of advanced flows.

I have done the same using a Aqara relais with 2 outputs like this.
N = always connected
L3 = relais output 1 (I personally switch it OFF when nobody is home)
L2 = relais output 2 (I activate it when somebody does a #2 on the toilet OR shower is ON)

NOTE if relais output 2 / L2 is activated I also active Output 1 / L3 or the FAN won’t run good

Hey Sebas, tanks for your message. What should be the wiring look like? Only the L3 is enough, I don’t need to switch to L2/1 for more power. I only need it to be O/I. You don’t connected the N to the module but directly to the fan?

I’ve done my best to make a nice drawing so from your power cable the Neutral should go to de FAN and the Neutral of your relais
Then the brown phase should go to(probably) the L on your relais which then internally using a relais connecting its phase to its Output 1 and 2
And those O1 and O2 ahould be connected to L3 and L2
