I’ve been using a Homey Bridge for a couple of years now and to be honest it was not an easy ride…
I have only Zigbee devices:
- 9 bulbs (hue, innr, lidl)
- 7 smartpugs (lidl, sonoff, ledvance)
- 2 motionsensors (aqara)
- 2 doorsensors (marmitek)
- Tado heating (non zigbee oc)
I have had and still have a lot of connection problems and did all the recommended steps like:
- new adapter
- static IP
- moved the Homey bridge 2 meter away from the router
- router wifi on channel 3, homey channel on 20
But still the Homey loses connection all the time and devices are not reacting/working etc. I have to restart Homey (uplug/plug) or if I do that on a browser with the developer tools, sometimes that even doesnt work (failed to fetch).
I have been thinking upgrading to a Pro mini but am a little anxious that it wont solve the connection problems because my assumption is that the busy wifi network in my home environment interferes with the zigbee network…
Does somebody have experience with this upgrade (favorable also coming from a the same problems as I have)?
