I have just purchased a Shelly Motion Sensor and connected it using the IP Address due to the bug. This seemed to work fine and the device was found and connected. However, the Motion, Luminance and Tamper Alarm all show no activity even when I am lifting it moving it etc.

I added it to a flow and simply used “The motion alarm turned on” trigger with a Then of getting my Alexa to say motion. When I test it this works but due to the fact that the sensor does not seem to be updating in Homey nothing happens when I pass my hand in front of the sensor.

Have I missed something or am I doing something wrong?

I have the exact same thing. The only thing is that I see that in the software of the Motion that ColoT is turned on, but indeed nothing seems to update,
